3 Airline Credit Cards You Should Take A Look At For Summer

Summer is the time when most people travel. The weather is great and they need a long deserved vacation. Since everyone is always interested in saving money,  getting the best possible days is a welcome reward.

Here are three airline credit cards that people should take a closer look at:

Chase Sapphire Preferred Card

With a savings of $95 right off the top this credit card means business.

For the first year the annual fee of $95 is waived. If you are a new card member and spend $3,000 within the first three months, you will earn a generous 40,000 points. These points translate to approximately $500 in airfare. You will also earn a 7 percent bonus each year on all of the points that you earn.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is one of the best deals around.

United MileagePlus Explorer Card

After you have made your first purchase, this card rewards you with a whopping 25,000 mile bonus. If you add another user to the card within the first two months you will receive an additional 5,000 points. You can add in another savings to this card with the annual $95 fee waiver in the first year. To accumulate an extra 10,000 points spend $25,000 in the first year.

A smart choice in savings.

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Plus Credit Card

The annual fee on this credit card is quite a bit lower at $69. Their rewards include a hefty bonus of 25,000 points after you make your first purchase. This is the equivalent to $400 in their “Wanna Get Away” airfares. They also offer a 60 point usage for every $1, instead of charging the usual 100 points for each dollar in their “Wanna Get Away” fares.

Nice plan for the person looking to save a great deal of money when traveling!
